Cannabis Infused Coconut Oil is a must have ingredient if your a serious Cannabis Cuisine Chef. It can be used in just about any recipe instead of other cooking oils or butter. It also makes a great topical rub for skin, muscles or other uses.
1 cup of ground cannabis flower or sugar leaf.
1 cup of coconut oil
Strainer or cheesecloth
Double-boiler, slow cooker, saucepan, etc.
1First go ahead and prepare your cannabis . You will want to chop it up before mixing it with coconut oil.
2While chopping it up , just keep in mind that anything small enough to fit through the strainer will end up in your finished product, so you do not want to grind your cannabis to a fine powder. You want it about the same consistency as you would want to to roll a nice joint.
3Combine oil and cannabis in your double-boiler, slow cooker, or saucepan and heat the two together on low or warm for a few hours.
4This allows for decarboxylation process to occur , just make sure the heat does not get above 245F.
5Once finished heating go ahead and strain and store the oil.
6The oil’s shelf life is around two months or refrigerate to store for longer periods.
