Cannasparagus Wraps

Cannasparagus Wraps are sure to be a hit at your next dinner party...the perfect appetizer !

20 thin slices of sandwich bread with the crusts removed

1 1/2 cups of canna- butter (see our recipe )

4 ounces of blue cheese, at room temperature

8 ounce package of cream cheese at room temperature

1 egg beaten

20 fresh asparagus spears


1Trim the crusts from the bread and flatten with a rolling pin.

2In a mixing bowl stir the blue cheese and cream cheeses together with the egg until well blended and creamy.

3Next spread a layer of cheese mixture over each slice of bread and roll one asparagus spear inside each one and fasten with a toothpick.

4Now melt your canna-butter in a saucepan and roll each cannasparagus wrap in butter until well coated.

5Next place wraps on a baking sheet and freeze for one hour or until butter hardens and wraps are somewhat firm.

6Remove baking sheet from freezer and discard all of the toothpicks and cut each wrap in half .

7Now you can store in a freezer bag until ready to use at your dinner party !

8when your ready to serve preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

9Arrange your frozen cannasparagus wraps on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

10Check occasionally and turn for even browning and to prevent burning on one side .

11Remove from over and serve , you can sprinkle with Parmesan cheese for extra flavor !
